Renting & Permits
What are the requirements for renting a motorbike?
You need a temporary driver's licence issued by the Automobile Association of Sri Lanka. We can arrange this for you — see our driving permit service.
Do you apply for and prepare the temporary driving permit for me?
We'll handle it for you. The cost is around $40 and the process typically takes about 2 weeks. We'll deliver it to you along with the bike once you're in Sri Lanka.
Mileage & Safety
Are there any mileage limits or additional fees for exceeding them?
No, there is no mileage limit on any of our bikes. You can fully enjoy and explore the country throughout the entire rental period.
Do you provide safety gear with the rental, like helmets?
Yes, we provide helmets, and there are no additional charges for them.
